| Tinubu and Buhari |
President Muhammadu Buhari accompanied President-elect Bola Tinubu on a tour of the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday.
Buhari and Tinubu arrived at the Press Gallery around 1:18 p.m., shortly after praying at the Aso Villa Mosque.
"This is the Gallery where you will be meeting members of the press," Buhari said as the two men exited from the Aso Chambers' waiting area.
This comes just 24 hours after Tinubu received the National Honour of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic and Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger from President Buhari at the State House Banquet Hall.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo gave Shettima a tour of the State House's VP Wing on Thursday.
Both leaders have exchanged paperwork in preparation for the formal turnover of power on Monday, May 29, 2023.
